THE CHALLENGE:
Carvana’s Car Vending Machine is a massive physical feat of engineering, but the brand needed to bridge the gap between "utilitarian utility" and "consumer wonder." The goal was to humanize the technology and create a visual narrative that captured the sheer scale and excitement of the delivery experience.

THE STRATEGY & INSIGHT:
Instead of a traditional corporate overview, we bet on a high-energy, immersive visual style that mimicked the perspective of being inside the machine. We recognized that the "wow factor" wasn’t just the car, it was the mechanical choreography. By leaning into a "Spintastic" aesthetic, we transformed a logistics process into a branded entertainment piece.

THE IMPACT:
Organic Growth:
Developed and produced as a passion project that garnered 2.5M+ organic views on YouTube.
Scalability: The creative was so effective at capturing the brand essence that it was elevated from a digital asset to a National TV Spot.
Creative Leadership: I oversaw the project through a year-long production cycle, managing the intersection of engineering, production design, and post-production to ensure the final output maintained brand integrity at a national scale.

MY ROLE: Lead Art Director & Producer

  • Creative Oversight: Directed the visual language and aesthetic consistency over a 12-month production timeline.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborated directly with Vending Machine Engineers and Production Designers to translate physical mechanical constraints into cinematic moments.

  • Production Management: Managed the end-to-end workflow from conceptual storyboarding to final broadcast delivery.
